Our conversations with organisations recently have been reflecting back to us - in crystal clear clarity - two themes. First, a lot of us are feeling weary from the last few years – pandemics, flooding, rising cost of living, geopolitical conflict and now, looming job loss and restructures. Second, organisations are coming thick and fast to Umbrella, demonstrating organisational commitment to measure, manage and eliminate psychosocial risks.
We’re continuing to walk this line at Umbrella, providing individuals with the tools to thrive, while equipping organisational leaders with the tools to build thriving environments. After all, it’s a joint responsibility.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Dry July webinar in partnership with PIVOT Explore, Umbrella Wellbeing and State of Play. If you would love to hear some tips on how to cut down on alcohol, you can watch the replay here (password: 1Cp#g89@).
To close out, some lovely feedback on a team session we hosted for our friends at Winsborough:
“During the day we had a session with a clinical psychologist on managing the frantic
for ourselves, thanks to our good friends at Umbrella Wellbeing. We were already on a
campaign to cut internal meetings ... Early days but amazing the difference you feel
even from having those small breaks, and the neuroscience is pretty clear around the
benefits on short term memory too.” Get in touch
if you’d like to book a session for your team to help you cut the frantic and boost
efficiency.
Until next time, mā te wā, The Umbrella Team
