Glenfied Activation Day

Harbour Sport along with the Kaipatiki local board and Kaipatiki Facilties Trust held a Glenfield activation day at Malborough park. It was an opportunity for the Glenfield community to come along and see what is available to them in both sport and active recreation.

During the day we had over 600 members of the community come down and see what was on offer. We had demonstration's and have a go sessions hosted by the different providers in Glenfield. We had amazing feedback from everyone involved both the providers and public.

Harcourts Cooper & Co Shore to Shore

WOW!! What a day! We’re still buzzing from the incredible Harcourts Cooper & Co Shore to Shore 2026.

A huge thank you to every single one of the 4,600+ participants and 60+ schools who laced up their shoes, wore epic costumes, cheered from the sidelines, and fueled the fun from Takapuna Grammar to Milford Reserve!
This amazing support means we’re able to give back more than $18,000 in sports equipment vouchers to local schools, helping even more Tamariki stay active and love sport.

We couldn’t have done it without our fabulous volunteers, dedicated staff, and generous sponsors.

Can’t wait to see everyone back at the start line next year! Until then, enjoy the memories and check out the photos from this year’s event!

Empowering your Youth

Parents from across the North Shore came together for a successful Empowering Your Youth workshop led by Judith Quinlan, our Youth Sport Advisor.

The session shared practical advice and up‑to‑date research on supporting young people (11–18 years) with healthy eating, energy availability, positive sportsmanship, and creating a balanced approach to sport and recreation.

Parents left feeling informed, confident, and better equipped to support positive, enjoyable sporting experiences for their teens.

Volunteering alongside Restore Hibiscus and Bays

Deep Creek Reserve

As part of Parks Week, our team had the opportunity to volunteer alongside Restore Hibiscus & Bays at Deep Creek Reserve.

We spent the day getting our hands dirty with some much-needed weeding and gardening to help care for this beautiful local reserve. Unfortunately, parts of the reserve have experienced some neglect over time, and removing invasive weeds is an important first step in helping the area recover and allowing native plants to thrive again.

It was a great way to recognise Parks Week — celebrating the important green spaces in our communities while contributing to their restoration.
A huge thank you to Restore Hibiscus and Bays for the incredible work they do to protect and restore our local environment. We loved being part of a day focused on community, conservation, and giving back.
