Dear CBH,

The remaining equity for the 2024/25 Oat Harvest Pool has now been distributed to participants, delivering an outstanding result.

In the Kwinana Zone, the final equity for OAT1 was $442.81 per tonne, representing a $41.01 premium above the average cash price during the same marketing period.

Oat receivals for the season were more than 10 per cent above the five-year average. International demand was strong at harvest, though values softened later in the marketing window.

Our Marketing & Trading Structured Products team leveraged key opportunities to achieve this result by:

• Capturing strong customer demand through early pool sales.
• Timing sales effectively before prices declined in the latter half of the season.
• Reducing storage and handling costs by selling some stock via bulk vessels.
• Securing favourable foreign exchange levels in April as AUD/USD weakened amid trade uncertainty.

The 2025/26 Harvest Pools are open however may close at any time if it’s considered in the best interests of participants, or if there are significant market movements.

Guaranteed Access Contracts (GACs) remain available in LoadNet giving growers the opportunity to secure access to the No.1 Harvest Pool.
