CBH reaches 15 million tonnes

Harvest is powering ahead across the network, with CBH receivals passing 15.2 million tonnes (mt) last week. Warm, dry conditions helped growers make strong progress, delivering 3.9mt in seven days.

Western Australian (WA) growers set new milestones, breaking the daily network receival record twice in two days with 678,000 tonnes (t) on Wednesday and 680,000t on Thursday. Friday followed with 664,000t, the third-best day on record.

Canola and barley remain prominent, with wheat deliveries now leading as harvest moves into its final stages. All zones recorded their biggest days of the season, and several sites set new highs.
