Indigo Open Days

In February and March, we hosted our first Open Days! We had a number of visitors, from support workers and allied health staff to members of the community looking to learn more about AT.  "There's a great range of products for people to try out," one visitor shared, "...and I loved seeing all of the lower cost options available."

Pressure Mapping Services

Some of our Open Day attendees were surprised to learn that Indigo offers pressure mapping services, using equipment and software to identify optional positioning for clients with a risk or history of pressure injuries, to manage risks and access the right equipment.

AT2GO: new changes coming soon

Our AT2GO platform has a number of enhancements coming soon, including direct payment links that will allow providers who aren't fully onboarded yet to receive AT requests and securely complete payments via our Stripe platform.

Emma is our new Director of Allied Health, and she's responsible for supporting our different allied health teams to provide services to our clients. She's been working in the health sector for many years, and has a background in speech pathology.

Dedication to Inaugural Life Members

Visitors to our office may have seen new plaques in our consult rooms, which are dedicated to the inaugural life members of the ILC: John Livie, Patricia Kailis, Alec Rosenwax, and Lynne Whittingham. They join our founder Freda Jacob, after whom the Nedlands Boardroom is named.

LiveUp has a new resource for First Nations peoples: Yarn, move, do is a wellbeing booklet developed with Little Rocket, VAHS, VACCHO, and an Elder working group, and it offers simple prompts to help Mob reflect on their health, strengths, and wellbeing.

April Open Day

Our last Open Day will be held on Wednesday April 15th, from 10am to 2pm, where you can visit our display floor, browse our range of assistive tech, and enjoy a coffee. Our allied health professionals will also be hosting bite-sized learning talks on personal alarms, kitchen aids, and more!

We'll be jetting off to Sydney and Melbourne next month for the Support at Home Conference and the Support at Home Summit, where we'll be meeting other aged care stakeholders, promoting our AT2GO offer and learning more about the upcoming aged care reforms.

Indigo will also be attending the Ageing Australia ITAC (Innovation Transforming Aged Care) Conference in Brisbane! Our staff will be there to discuss the future of technology and digital solutions in aged care with other aged care organisations and stakeholders.
