AoG Consultancy services – return to market

We're preparing a return to market process for All-of-Government (AoG) Consultancy services. The team is currently engaging with agencies, providers and industry bodies about what the future might look like. These engagements include the Client Advisory Group, made up of key agencies to assist NZGP in this work.

The current solution is 10 years old and we're developing a new solution for the future needs of government agencies. NZGP is anticipating being in the market in October and we are looking at how procure connect will assist in the delivery of the new solution.

If you have further questions, please contact us.

AoG Creative and media services – panel refresh

We’ve recently refreshed our current AoG Creative and media services (CMS) panel. Current providers have had the opportunity to increase the number of service categories they support, enabling the panel to better meet agency needs.

We’re now updating contracts and will share a consolidated view of all panel changes soon. The changes will start from 1 July 2026.

We’re also opening the panel to new providers as part of a broader panel refresh. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will go live in early June.

AoG Banking services update

The current term of the AoG Banking services contract expires in June 2027, with 1 right of renewal of up to 2 years.

The team is currently speaking with providers about next steps. As part of the renewal process, we plan to invite current AoG panel providers to expand their service offerings.

We also anticipate opening the panel to additional providers later this year. We'll provide further information in due course. If you have any questions, contact us at banking.coe@mbie.govt.nz.

Property consultancy services – guidance for businesses seeking panel membership

We’re aware some agencies are being approached by businesses seeking information on how to join the Property consultancy services (PCS) panel.

If you are approached by a business, please direct them straight to the team at NZGP. We can provide them with the appropriate guidance on panel membership and the application process.

Referring providers directly to us ensures:

  • consistent and accurate information is provided,
  • fairness and transparency across procurement processes, and
  • compliance with government procurement requirements.

Please do not provide businesses with other guidance or advice on how to join a panel or on panel application processes. This includes sharing informal tips, application steps, or requirements.

Businesses who are interested in joining the panel can contact us at consultancy@gpg.govt.nz.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in maintaining the integrity of the PCS agreement.

Document storage, digitisation and destruction services

Canon New Zealand Limited have reduced their Digitalisation Implementation Fee, effective 20 May 2026.

Details for all providers on the syndicated agreement are available on our website or contact the team at NZGP for more information.

Procure Connect – government’s e-procurement platform

Agencies can now use the AoG Insurance brokering services (IB services) contract on Procure Connect and we’re preparing the next contracts for the move.

In addition to the IB services and External legal services already available for agencies, we’re working on the Fleet management services contract, which will be the next to move. Following this, the below contracts will be added to Procure Connect:

  • Motor vehicles
  • Reticulated gas
  • Print technology and associated services.

In the future, agencies should use Procure Connect when procuring from AoG panel contracts that are available on the platform. Over time, all AoG panels will move to this new platform, which will be the government’s commercial centre.

Procure Connect will provide a quick and efficient connection between suppliers and government. It’s a secure and flexible platform that enables agencies to manage the entire secondary procurement process in one place.

Annual AoG contract satisfaction survey is coming soon

We run this survey annually to better understand your experience using AoG contracts, and how these contracts deliver value to your agency or school.

This feedback helps us identify areas for improvement, and you can read about last year’s findings or go through the 2025 survey report on our website.

We’ve shortened and simplified this year's survey to make it quick and easy to complete. It’ll only take 10-15 minutes, and we’d really appreciate your input.

You can expect to receive the survey via email on 8 June.

If you have any questions, please contact us at procurement@mbie.govt.nz.
