The Government Procurement Practitioner’s Competency Framework is now live
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Government Procurement Practitioner’s Competency Framework.
These new tools and guidance will help procurement practitioners with their professional development.
The assessment helps procurement professionals identify learning priorities. The learning guide suggests actions to build on the skills and knowledge needed to work in procurement competently and confidently.
The tools were developed in collaboration with procurement experts from around the government procurement sector.
New provider for the procurement graduate programme starts
Over the past year, we’ve worked with the system to shape the future of the New Zealand Government Procurement graduate programme.
Augment Resources has been selected to deliver the graduate programme from 2026 to 2029.
In early February NZGP joined with Augment to welcome 10 new graduates. Augment will oversee the day-to-day operations of the programme. The graduates will continue to rotate through government agencies and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities.
If you’re interested to learn more about the graduate programme, get in touch with us via our website or our email.
