Provide your feedback about the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) to the independent reviewer

On 17 March 2025, the Minister for Trade and Tourism announced the appointment of Mr Timothy Yeend to lead the next legislatively required independent review of the EMDG program.

Mr Yeend will review the quality of current program processes and delivery, with a focus on applicants' experience engaging with Round 4 of the program.

Consultation processes have now commenced. Mr Yeend is interested in your feedback and encourages all stakeholders to participate in the consultation process.

The Consultation Paper is available to provide further background and suggested questions to guide your feedback. 

How can you have your say?

• Make a submission by email to emdgreview@austrade.gov.au or via our online submission form.
• Complete the online survey.
• Register to attend a meeting in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. Registrations will open in August. There will also be the possibility of online consultations for stakeholders in other locations.

Consultations for the Review will end 12 September 2025.
