Grab your board - skate season is back!

Totem Skateboarding is bringing skate sessions back to Bella Vista Pocket Park on Saturday from 9am on 5 September, with real ramps, rails and free Learn to Skate classes for kids aged 6 and up.

Three classes run across the morning - from first timers, to fine tuning your tricks. Boards, helmets and pads are provided. Every participant gets a Landcom x Totem Skate Passport to track their tricks, and there's a free skateboard to be won on the day.

Spots are limited and guaranteed to book out.

A warm welcome to CMRC, Bella Vista's newest neighbour

There's a new door open in Bella Vista, and behind it a team that's spent years helping people find their footing in a new country.

The Community Migrant Resource Centre has officially opened its Bella Vista office, bringing settlement and support services right into the heart of the Hills. If you've been down to the Pocket Park for one of our events, chances are you've already met them.

Whats coming up in the Hills

Spring is about to bloom, with two of the season's biggest events returning this September.

Orange Blossom Festival Street Parade

Saturday 19 September, 11am to 4pm at Rouse Hill Town Centre.

Floats, local performers and community groups take over Main Street, with a special appearance from PAW Patrol. Free face painting, gardening workshops and a photobooth on the day.

Echoes at Bella Vista Farm

Nightly from 18 September to 11 October

An all-new immersive light and sound journey brings the farm's history to life after dark, with a completely new story and activations for 2026.

Construction Updates

Terry Road, Rouse Hill

Civil works are underway on Terry Road, supporting future housing in the Tallawong Precinct. Over roughly eight months, Terry Road will be extended under the Metro line to connect to Schofields Road, with upgraded traffic signals and a new roundabout. Once complete, Terry Road precinct residents will have direct left and right turn access to Schofields Road.

Works run 7am to 6pm weekdays and 8am to 1pm Saturdays.

Bella Vista Station Precinct

Subdivision and civil works have begun along Mawson Avenue, Celebration Drive and the surrounding road network, preparing the precinct for future development. Works include road construction, earthworks, underground services and drainage, landscaping, street lighting and public domain works, and continue through to February 2027.

Works run 7am to 6pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm Saturdays, with no work on Sundays or public holidays. We'll notify the community in advance of any night works.
