A first look at Kellyville and Bella Vista's new parks

The NSW Government has released the finalised concept designs for Kellyville Centre Park and Bella Vista District Park, two new parks that will be delivered alongside the Metro line in Sydney’s north-west.

The designs reflect community feedback from public exhibition earlier this year and were developed in collaboration between the NSW Government, the Hills Shire Council, Landcom and Sydney Metro.

The parks are jointly funded through the NSW Government's Parks for People program and the Sydney Metro Northwest Places Program, a partnership between Landcom and Sydney Metro.

Visit Kellyville Centre Park and Bella Vista District Park to view the finalised designs.

Make groovy memories together this Grandparents' Week

Looking for a fun way to spend time with the grandkids?

Bring them along to The Stage Door Performing Arts’ special Grandparents’ Week dance class on Wednesday 14 October at Bella Vista Pocket Park.

It’s a chance for little ones and their grandparents to get moving, enjoy music, and share a fun experience while creating memories and strengthening your special connection.

As one of our regular grandmothers puts it, “All you grandmothers (or grandfathers!) grab the grandchildren, get here and have a bit of fun!”

The results are already coming in...

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your feedback about Bella Vista Pocket Park activities so far. While the survey is still open, we're already seeing some great results.

95% of respondents told us they've recommended Bella Vista Pocket Park activities to someone they know, and 75% keep coming back whenever they can.

Over the past seven years, Landcom's placemaking program has brought thousands of Hills residents together – from weekly dance classes and skate workshops to family fun days and wellness circles.

Your feedback confirms what we see every week at Bella Vista Pocket Park: these small, regular moments of connection add up to something meaningful for the community. As one respondent put it, "it gets families out bonding with each other and trying new things."

Your feedback will help us understand what matters most to the community and shape what comes next.
