For more information, visit www.mondo.landcom.com.au New path and greener streets in Precinct 9Works in Precinct 9 to the east of Soldier’s Parade are tracking well. The site is beginning to take shape, with a new pedestrian path currently being laid.
Landscaping will follow shortly, with new trees to enhance the streetscape.
Some upcoming works will require traffic management, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise disruption for residents. We appreciate the community’s ongoing support and patience as we continue delivering these important upgrades. Completion is now expected by mid-2026.
WWII artifacts found at Bardia Barracks
Remediation works at the heritage-listed
Bardia Barracks are ongoing. While working on the site, some World War II
artifacts were found, and they are now being carefully preserved in line with
heritage rules.
The main goal is to remediate and rectify
the existing buildings while also protecting the site's unique history. The
work is expected to continue until early next year, with a strong focus on
preserving heritage.
Jardine Drive development applications submittedIn August, we submitted two development applications for the Jardine Drive site.
Once complete, this project will deliver up to 56 detached homes, helping to shape a well-connected and liveable neighbourhood for residents. We’ll share more updates with you as things progress.
