Totem Skate workshops roll into April

After an epic launch event in March, you are invited to join Totem Skate at Bella Vista Pocket Park on Saturday 11 April for another morning of skating and community fun.

These sessions are a great way for local kids to get active, build confidence and connect with other young skaters, whether they are stepping on a board for the first time or advancing their skills on ramps and obstacles.

Sessions run across the morning from 9.00am to 12.30pm, with workshops designed for beginners through to those ready to develop their skills further.

Plus, participants on the day will be in the running to win a limited-edition Landcom skateboard giveaway. Don’t miss your chance to ride away with your very own deck.

Introducing Ready, Set, Play with Netball NSW

For the first time Landcom, in collaboration with Netball NSW and the Community Migrant Resource Centre are bringing the netball skills sessions to Bella Vista Pocket Park these April school holidays.

These fun, active sessions introduce kids to the basics of netball through games, teamwork and skill-building activities. It is a great opportunity for beginners to try the sport in a welcoming environment, or for those looking to work on their skills, all while staying active during the school break.Sessions will run across two days:

Monday 13 April

5 to 7 years-old, 8.30am – 11.30am

Tuesday 14 April

8 to 10 years-old, 8.30am – 11.30am

11 to 12 years-old, 12pm – 3pm

Easter and Autumn fun with The Stage Door Performing Arts

Dance and groove your way into the new season with The Stage Door Performing Arts’ weekly dance classes at Bella Vista Pocket Park.

These free weekly dance classes run every Wednesday at 10am during school term and are designed for children aged 2 to 5 years.

Once a month the class features an exciting theme. Join us on Wednesday 8 April to enjoy an Easter and Autumn celebration class. Expect dress-ups, creative movement and plenty of opportunities for little dancers to explore rhythm and imagination as we embrace the new season.

Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure seeking feedback on Kellyville Centre Park

The NSW Government has released designs for a major new parkland, Kellyville Centre Park, located near the Kellyville Metro.

The designs reflect what Landcom heard at workshops held in 2024, and demonstrate the strong partnership between the NSW Government, Hills Shire Council, Landcom and the community.

You’re invited to view the designs and share feedback by 5pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
