The Procurement capability index reporting (PCI) assessment
will be available for agencies to complete next month (November).
This reporting is due on 2 March 2026.
The PCI is an annual survey designed to assess an agency’s
capability across a range of areas such as governance, strategy, planning,
sourcing and management.
Following feedback on the 2024 reporting, we’ve refined
several questions to strengthen data quality and ensure we can provide timely,
actionable insights back to agencies.
The PCI can help your agency identify areas for development,
comparisons with similar sized agencies and opportunities for NZGP to assist.
Agencies required to apply the Government Rules must
complete the PCI annually. However, we encourage all agencies to complete the
PCI survey as it helps your agency identify capability opportunities to deliver
better outcomes.
